The client is a world market leader in energy storage and has awarded a contract to Haden Freeman to produce a URS for two major facilities.

The URS was undertaken to provide sufficient information for the client to gain competitive prices for a FEED study.

The contents of the URS included

• Stage gate definition
• General scope of project
• Basis of design
• Key user requirements
• Specific user requirements
• Detailed deliverables
• Testing, commissioning and validation

The response form contractors to the URS will be used to assess the next stage of the project.
